We had the second phase of Technical Assistance (TA) from Expertise France, implemented in partnership with TeAM4Health, which concluded in Yaoundé this November.

This crucial 4days workshop brought together 9 Cameroonian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including HEDECS, to define a strong, collective capacity-building plan.

Building Internal Expertise and a Consulting Network

Beyond just strengthening our organizations, a core aim of this TA is to empower our representatives. A key objective is the development of a Network of Experts by strengthening the capacities of our focal persons to become consultants in the four strategic domains:

  • Governance
  • Administrative and Financial Management
  • Resource Mobilization
  • Communication

All these was done with guidance and coaching from the Team4Health consultants. W

e also focused on shared learning and mutual support, we are creating a pool of in-house experts to ensure long-term sustainability and strengthen collaboration amongst the 9 CSOs.
