This workshop was attended by the W4GF Implementing team in their diversity. HEDECS Cameroon the lead organization, Positive vision, Empower Cameroon, Sustainable Women Organization, Transamical, Hope for Vulnerable Children, Denis Miki Foundation, POWER, Her Voice Fund Ambassador, Women Organization for Worldwide Muslim. The National gender consultant shared his scooping report of SGBV in Cameroon, conducting CLM guidelines and questionnaire for the focus group discussions.
Some of the main activities that t

ook place during this workshop were interactive discussions to understand and improve on the questionnaire, capacity building of the team on conducting CLM, role play on focus group discussions, final planning for field work to test the tools. The main outcome of the CLM on SGBV is to produce findings which will be channeled to influence national HIV,TB, Malaria priorities, global policy and processes vis a vis SGBV, gender equality, human rights and women’s meaningful engagement.
HEDECS-W4GF Implementing team Cameroon on Community Led Monitoring will further engage communities and help identify their needs to help improve on SGBV services offered towards women and young girls. Improving health, Empowering Women, Empowering Communities!.
